Munich likely to sell to United

During the summer, there were several reports that Manchester United were trying to sign key Bayern Munich players like Toni Kroos and Thomas Müller in one single go. The Premier League outfit have an incredible financial muscle due to a raft of commercial deals in the last few years. They are only second to Real Madrid when it comes to the overall revenue, which easily crosses more than £ 400 million per season. Despite the overwhelming popularity of Bayern Munich, they simply cannot come close to the English club in terms of finances.

Jackett Still Interested IN Wood

Kenny Jackett, the man in charge at Wolverhampton Wanderers, has said that the talks are still going on between him and the Leicester City management regarding the New Zealand forward Chris Wood.
Wood, who had joined Leicester just the previous season, is under contract at the King Power Stadium till the summer of 2016.
Jackett is not sure though if he would be able to seal the Wood deal before his team’s next match.
Talking to the reporters about Wood’s possible signing, the Wolves boss said, “We are trying to negotiate terms. Let’s see if we reach any conclusion.”

Rodgers Attempts To Reach Agreement With Shaqiri

The manager of Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers, is trying hard to reach an agreement with Bayern Munich over the transfer of the Switzerland international Xherdan Shaqiri.

With the possibility of Luis Suarez making his way away from England this summer, Rodgers is keen to bring in some attacking quality at the Anfield and he is already supposed to have a couple of good deals in the form of Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana.

The official announcement of Lallana deal has not been made though, but, it is believed to be sealed by Liverpool.

Mandzukic Confirms Leave Of Munich

Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic has finally confirmed rumours that he is set to leave the German club at the end of the season. The 28-year-old has been heavily linked with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal over the last few months. This is because manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly unhappy with his playing style, which does not fit into his philosophy. Guardiola is a fan of small players who like to play the football on the ground. Mandzukic, though, is a player who made his name due to the physical style of football that also helped Bayern Munich lift three major titles in 2013.

Rummenigge Announces Muller Sale

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has stunned the club fans by admitting that star striker Thomas Müller could be sold in the summer. There have been a lot of speculation regarding the future of Müller in the last few weeks. The club has been in contract negotiations with the 24-year-old for a while now. However, it looks like they are quite far away from agreeing a deal. The future of midfielder Toni Kroos has also been in doubt since the player has only 12 months left on his contract. Müller, on the other hand, has just over two years left on his deal.

BAYERN ARE READY

Having already secured the Bundesliga title, some players of Bayern Munich and even the coach himself Pep Guardiola have stated that the league has now taken a lower level of importance and this was evident when Bayern Munich played against Augsburg and suffered a 0-1 defeat.

Pep Guardiola has defended his decision of fielding players which aren’t usually in his starting lineup as the former Barcelona coach announced that he is now taking into more consideration, the Champions League than anything else.

BAYERN HAVE EDGE

Bayern Munich go into the second leg of the Champions League match against Arsenal with a 2-0 lead on aggregate, but manager Pep Guardiola says that the German club cannot afford to get complacent just as they did last season.

Bayern Munich went into the second leg with a similar score at the same stage last season. They were almost knocked out of the competition after Arsenal produced a stunning comeback to win 2-0 at the Allianz arena. It was only due to away goals that Bayern Munich progressed and later went on to win the competition.

BAYERN ROMP ON

The German giants Bayern Munich continue their rampage in the Bundesliga by scoring 4 goals past Hannover 96 with Thomas Muller being named as the man of the match as he scored twice for his team.

Bayern Munich escaped the HDI Arena with a convincing victory but also saw their star man of the game sustaining an injury that will be leaving him out of action for his club’s upcoming match against Schalke 04.

NOT SELLING

The manager of Bayern Munich, Pep Guardiola, has made it clear that he has not planned to sell Mario Mandzukic next summer.

This is Mandzukic’s second season at Bayern Munich. His performance for the club has been good so far and he is a regular member of Guardiola’s starting XI. He has scored 25 goals in the 40 league appearance that he has made for the German giants in the last one and half years.

Bayern Munich eying Barca's Alexis Sanchez

Pep Guardiola, the Bayern Munich manager, might be set to make yet another raid on his former club Barcelona to get forward Alexis Sanchez during the January transfer window. The Chilean footballer has been in a stunning form this year after he took some time to settle in La Liga in Spain, but he could be on the way out of Barcelona with an increasing list of teams lining up to sign him during the transfer window.
