BAYERN ARE SLOPPY

Despite managing to progress into the semifinals of the Champions League, Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has said that the German club are extremely sloppy in the early part of the second leg match between Juventus.

Bayern Munich were taking on Juventus in the quarter-final, and they managed to secure a 2-0 lead from the first leg. The comfortably managed to progress into the semifinals of the competition after yet another 2-0 win at Turin. Their aggregate score of 4-0 may seem extremely comfortable, but Heynckes was not entirely satisfied with the victory.

SYMPATHY FOR HEYNCKES

The Bayern Munich president Franz Beckenbauer has said that he has sympathy for the manager Jupp Heynckes, who has been extremely irritated by the media in recent weeks.

The 67-year-old manager will be stepping down from his role at the end of the season. The club have announced that the former Barcelona manager Guardiola will be taking over as the manager next season. This is an astounding victory for the German club given that Guardiola has been courted by some of the biggest clubs in the world. Hence, there is a lot of media attention on the arrival of Guardiola next season.

ONE OF THE BEST

The Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world. The 28-year-old has made close to 100 appearances for the German national team, while he has also have the incredible success with his club team as well.

As a result, he has been consistently linked with several clubs over the last few years, but he has rejected any advances to stay with the German club. Now, though, situation seems to have changed slightly because the player has recently admitted that he could leave Bayern Munich, but only after the expiry of his current deal.

Schweinsteiger might leave Bayern Munich

This comes as somewhat bad news for many, but unfortunately the reality is that Bayern Munich's midfielder, Bastian Schweinsteiger may be leaving the club for greener pastures (pfft, greener? We don't think so!) when his contract with BM expires, something that is coming up relatively soon.

It's a shame, given that Bayern has actually given Schweinsteiger much of his training and development opportunities since he has taken up the mantle of top-ranking footballer, having come out of Bayern's own youth academy.

BAYERN NOT WORRIED

The Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has said that the club are not worried about the upcoming match with the current champions Borussia Dortmund. Bayern Munich have almost been unstoppable in the league this season, as they look to win the league title further first time in three years.

Bayern Munich v Gr Furth

Bayern Munich is looking hot this season. It is leading Bundesliga by a healthy margin and the club will play in the Champions League knock-out matches, so they have their sights earnestly set on breaking their trophy duck of the previous three seasons.

They finished the group matches at the top of their group, finally secured by beating BATE Borisov by a three goal margin. In fact several Bundesliga's clubs are doing well in the Champions League; Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund all finished at the head of their Champions League groups.

BAYERN SMASH BATE

Bayern Munich has been defeated by FC BATE Borisov in a Champions League match played at Stadyen Dynama on Tuesday. Borisov won the match by a profound margin of 3-1. This was the second match for Borisov in the ongoing Champions League and the team has won all the two matches.

It was a clinical effort by the Borisov team which was playing on its home ground. Approximately, 25000 people were present in the Stadium to cheer for the Borisov team and their team stood up to their expectations.

Borisov got ahead in the 23rd minute of the match.

BAYERN WANT TO WIN

The Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has said that the club should prove that they are one of the top teams in the world by winning all the major titles this season. The German club managed to finish as the runners up in all the three major competitions they participated last season, with Fernando Torres killing them off in the Champions League Final.

RUMENIGGE DEFENDS PLAYERS

The Bayern Munich chief Executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has come out in the defence of the players after they were criticised by the Bayern Munich legend Franz Beckenbauer after having finished runners-up in all the three major competitions in the last season.

JUPP WILL CONTINUE

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has confirmed that Jupp Heynckes' position as the manager of the club will not change despite finishing as the runners up in three different competitions.

Bayern Munich finished in the second position in the domestic league to Dortmund, while they also suffered a 5-2 loss at the hands of their league rivals in the DFB Cup. The Champions League final against Chelsea offered them the only chance to win the title that would save their season.
