WEST HAM EYEING DEAL FOR SULE

Premier League side West Ham United are keen on signing Bayern Munich defender NicklasSule as manager David Moyes bids to boost his defensive options. The interest of West Ham United in the Bayern Munich defender was revealed by Ex-WHU Employee.

It was revealed that the Hammers want to boost their central defensive options next month mainly due to the injuries to players such as Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna in recent weeks. West Ham boss Moyes is determined to capitalise on the contractual situation involving Sule at the Allianz Arena.

German international defender Sule has six months left on his current deal at Bayern Munich and it doesn't look like he would be signing a new deal with the six-time European champions. The player can start to negotiate a free transfer move to West Ham United and other foreign teams as from tomorrow, but it looks like the Hammers want him to move from Bayern Munich in the January transfer window rather than wait for him in the summer.

West Ham United have produced a lot of good performances in the Premier League and the Europa League this season. They were in fourth position for several weeks until their form began to suffer this month and this has been traced to the lack of defensive numbers especially in the central defence area. Defensive injuries have affected Moyes and West Ham United in recent weeks.

Moyes started the season with the injured duo of Zouma and Ogbonna as the first choice centre back partnership, but he has had to fall back on the back-up options of Craig Dawson and IssaDiop for several weeks.

For Ogbonna, he suffered a serious knee injury several weeks back and he might not make it to the pitch this season, while Zouma will certainly recover to take his place in the team next month after a lengthy absence due to hamstring problem.
