BAYERN MUNICH REPORTEDLY CONSIDERED SIGNING KAI HAVERTZ THIS SUMMER

According to a report by German outlet SPORT1, Bayern Munich had once considered signing Chelsea forward Kai Havertz as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski. The Poland international forced a move to Barcelona in the ongoing transfer window, leaving the reigning Bundesliga champions looking for replacements. Bayern Munich have already made an attacking signing this summer, with Sadio Mane arriving from Liverpool. But the Bavarian giants might still want to add one more attacker to Julian Nagelsmann’s squad. That is where Kai Havertz’s name might have popped up.
